Application Processing:
Once your application and payment are received in our office, we set up your membership file and send out your software along with instructions on installation and getting started. Please allow 5 business days for your software/instructions to arrive.

56K Technology:
There are two standards of 56K modems: FLEX and X2.
Dearborn Heights Online is capable of 56K Flex technology and X2. However if you have the X2, you may need to download V.90 If you are having trouble connecting, or downloading, or if your web browser/computer locks up, check your modem. If it is X2, you will may have a problem and will need to do the previously mentioned download.
This does not affect 14.4, 28.8, and 33.6 modems. These modems operate at the same speed standard and will send/receive data without any complications.
